User's water chase
| The need for a unique service pipe system to the municipal aqueducts brought Conveco to the study and realization of a product called users' chase. The users' chase is made of a grey cast iron trap, a cast iron spheroid curb box, for heavy traffic carriageway. The curb box has a seal and is closed with a mechanical clump, resistant to corrosion. Inside the trap we have the control unit: a meter, picked among the top market brands depending on client's needs, and two on-off valves, one ready for leading, before the meter, and one after. |

Fundamental is the non return valve that does not allow the return of delivered water in case of a loss of pressure in the system (for instance a break of a pipeline, a high and unexpected distribution of water, etc...). We are using solid ball, straight-line-passage, heavy series, pressed brass, sandblasted, nickel-plated valves, with internal explosion proof rod. Outside the trap we have a plug pipe connection for the linking to the aqueduct and the private net. The entire chase is covered with bituminous varnish and there's the possibility of having it pressed with “aqueduct “ and the municipality name and bearing.
