The method for rebuilding insulation around the valves' junction points is:

- external PEAD (high density polyethylene) pipe
- expanded polyurethane insulators
- thermo-shrinking sheath

The joint has the following features:

- perfect seal against external dampness infiltrations
- resistance to axial stresses coming from pipe's stresses in the ground
- resistance to radial stresses coming from movements close to curves
- resistance to temperature variations effects coming from internal fluid or from ground
- same thermal insulation as the one achieved inside the valve's structure with the polyurethane foam
