Pumping and sampling systems for underground polluted waters, percolates, biogas wells condensates
General Conveco offers a wide selection of pumping and sampling system for the reclamation of underground polluted waters.
We propose pneumatic or electric powered systems for applications to reduced diameter wells as well.
Applications
- Reclamation strata polluted waters.
- Hydrocarbon recovery from water beds.
- Percolate extraction from dumps.
- Condensates and deposits drainage from biogas collection wells.
- Hydraulic barriers.
- Strata waters sampling.
- Percolate sampling.
- Checking wells.
- "Back to safety" for contaminated areas
- "Pump and treat" interventions.
- Mobile pumping units for emergency interventions.

F.A.P. Plus System The F.A.P ( Flexible Axial Peristaltic ) pump is an automated skimming system for light hydrocarbon recovery ( LNAPL ) as petrol, gas oil, light oils, that generally float on water beds surfaces.
This system is completely pneumatic, no need for electric power, but only compressed air.
The whole system is made by five parts:
- F.A.P. Plus pump.
- Skimmer.
- Well head ( testa di pozzo ).
- High level pneumatic sensor.
- Pressure filter/regulator block.
The F.A.P Plus™ pump is “ bladder “ type, with a chamber that includes a flexible membrane, and a pneumatic integrated controller for the functioning cycle ( pre-programmed for 15 cycles/min ).
|
The pump has a cyclic functioning: when compressed air is let in, the internal membrane collapses; when the air is let out the internal membrane goes back to its original position sucking the liquid inside the body pump.
When compressed air is pumped again, the non return valve on the bottom of the pump closes, the liquid inside the pump opens the upper non return valve and is pushed to the surface.
ESS electric skimmer
When no compressed air is available, the ESS system, made of an intrinsic security electric pump, can be used instead of the F.A.P Plus system. The pump is available in two diameters, 2” and 4”, and it's connected to the skimmer in the same way as the F.A.P pump. The maximum flow rate is almost 125 l/hour. |
 |
The functioning is managed by a control unit ( 220v 50hz powered), it is possible to have a model that can handle 2 or 3 E.E.S pumps at the same time.
A series of timers offer the possibility of regulating the functioning parameters depending on specific operational needs.
MVP IV pneumatic pump
The pneumatic MVP IV pump can be used in wells starting from a 4” diameter, upper or lower filling available, so the pump can be used for LNAPL, DNAPL, percolates pumping. The MVP IV pump has a flow rate up to 49,2 l/min.
An internal float detects the level of liquid inside the pump and activates the empting cycle.
When the liquid fills the pump, the float moves to the top and activates the inflation of compressed air, this pressurizes the container ( completely in stainless steel ) closing the input non-return valve.
The compressed air pushes the liquid along the waste pipes; as a consequence of the empting, the float goes back to its minimum position. This activates the inflation of air and activates the breathing.
The cycle is automatically repeated whenever needed, in presence of liquid.
The pump works automatically and stops in absence of liquid ( internal float in the minimum position ).
For the specific utilization in dumps, for percolate or condensates pumping from biogas collection wells, there's a special stainless steel and Dellrin version, with a bottom filling.
Besides the well it's required only compressed air and a pressure regulator of ½”.
A pump of external diameter 44 mm is available for narrow diameter wells installations.

SEP IV electro pumps The SEP IV electro pumps have been developed for different applications: creation of depression cones, polluted waters extractions, pumping of dump's biogas condensates and percolates.
9 models are available with flow rates from 4,5 l/min up to 133 l/min, and maximum head of 115 metres.
The external diameter of only 99 mm of this pump allows its utilization in most wells used for “ back to safety “ actions in contaminated areas or for depuration ( emungimento ).
The body and the rotating parts are made of stainless steel.
All materials used for this pump are resistant to all contaminating substances which could be found for its applications.
All engines are Franklin Electric type, entirely in stainless steel, Teflon covered.
